My Story

After thirty years of teaching, I’ve decided to fulfill my dream of a small business trifecta in which I can exercise, enjoy the lake, and meet new people! My classes run a wide range of levels and ages, and there is something here for everyone. Whether you are new or a seasoned professional, join me for a full body workout in a beautiful environment!

Having developed my own unique teaching techniques, my goal is to offer you an unparalleled experience! I believe that the water offers us a therapeutic tool to dive deeper into ourselves. I want you to love this sport as much as I do!

All I can say is... Wow! I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to be on the inaugural paddleboard tour in Savannah Bay. The wetlands at the north end of the bay hold a secret few people have seen! It transports you to a place where cattails and Blue Herons rule! Mariann is an awesome instructor and knows the area like the back of her hand! It is obvious she has 30 years experience in both teaching and navigating this lake. It was an amazing experience and I give it 5 stars all the way!

I am not a good swimmer and far from athletic so I was very nervous stepping on the board for the first time. But Mariann got me safely on after explaining how to balance. It was as simple as where to put my feet and how to hold the paddle and off we went! Thanks to Mariann, I managed to NOT fall from the board even though it was a very windy day. It's a magical experience, floating on the water and definitely a good workout?! If you want to learn to paddleboard, look no further! Mariann makes you feel safe and capable! She's an excellent instructor and so encouraging!

Mariann is a fantastic paddle board instructor and tour guide! She took a group of us out for a girls night and we had the best time! I saw parts of Savannah bay that I have never seen before! The weather and the sunset were perfect. Couldn’t have asked for a better night with friends. I highly recommend!
